For my personal experience, this project has been important to my growth as a person and my academic level, this project permits me to allow better writing and pronunciation. And also some of the things that I have been more interested are the use of technology in this field. Now, those elements technology and education are join and we as future teachers should be prepared and updated with the technological and the academic. Therefore it is necessary to integrate these two elements to improve our skill finally this project has been a unique experience that allowed me to achieve goals set out in Advanced English II
SAMAEL GUERRA
Thanks to our teacher´s initiative, students now have a channel in which to give our point of view regarding the creation of the English Reading Room, aiding us in knowing it is origin and functions, in order to appreciate such a valuable education asset. The Reading Room is a space, equipped with all the necessary material for our leaning experiences an adequate space with a nice environment in which to learn and share knowledge. The blog´s creation is also a way for students to criticize it is functionality in order to make it the best possible learning experience.
ASDRUBAL ORDAZ
During this period Advanced English II had an important meaning for me, especially because it worked to improve my vocabulary and writing. The readings made in class opened the mind, helped to develop the critical thinking and provide information about different topics that were unknown. To share ideas through discussions and debates certainly helped me to feel comfortable about my knowledge in English, though it showed me my mistakes as well.
As for the new teaching method by using technology seemed to me very effective, despite some people looked like too complicated. For me it looked interesting and effective, because nowadays computers and the Internet are the technological elements most used around the world and at the same time, it forces the students how to learn and to use them. Finally, the project that will be presented by using blogs in order to describe the different departments of the university represents a good example of what we are doing to take the worldwide technological movement and spread it here.
